These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the StudyForge mobile app ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you accept these terms in full.

1. Description of service

StudyForge is a smart study app that lets users upload documents (PDF, DOCX) to automatically generate study material (flashcards, questions) via AI, and organize review sessions using the SM-2 spaced-repetition algorithm.

2. User accounts

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
• You may only have one active account per person.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.

3. Credits and purchases

• Processing documents consumes credits. Credits are acquired through in-app purchases managed by the Apple App Store or Google Play.
• Credits are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
• Credits do not expire as long as your account remains active.
• Credit pricing may vary by region and is subject to change with prior notice.

4. Acceptable use

When using the App, you agree not to:

• Upload content that infringes the intellectual property rights of third parties.
• Use the App to generate illegal, offensive, or misleading content.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or the App's internal systems.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use the App in a way that could damage, disable, or overload our servers.

5. Intellectual property

Rights to documents you upload remain yours. By uploading them, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to process them solely to generate your study material. AI-generated content (flashcards, questions) is yours to use personally.

The code, design, branding, and other elements of the App are the property of StudyForge and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

6. Limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is". We do not warrant that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for official exams. StudyForge will not be liable for damages arising from the use or inability to use the App, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Service modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time, with or without prior notice. We will not be liable to you or third parties for such modifications.

8. Termination

We may suspend or cancel your account if you breach these terms. You can cancel your account at any time from the App settings or by contacting us.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish and European Union law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts in Spain.
